How to Create Kahoot

The fifth Web 2.0 that I want to introduce is Kahoot! Have you ever heard about it?

Kahoot! is a tool for using technology to administer quizzes, discussions or surveys. It is a game based classroom response system played by the whole class in real time. Multiple-choice questions are projected on the screen. Students need to answer the questions with their smartphone, tablet or computer.

💋💋Let's take a look on the features:
  • Remote computer monitoring - Monitor student computer activity remotely from an administrative terminal.
  • Website and application blocking - Prevent students from accessing inappropriate or distracting websites, computer applications, and games.
  • Teacher/student screen sharing - Broadcast teacher or student screens to all or selected groups of students.
  • Interactive quizzes - Create  and share assessments and quizzes that students can access remotely from their computers.
  • Presentation building - Builds or edit presentations within software to share with students.
  • Instant messaging - Communicate privately with individual students to offer help or answer questions.

💋💋There are a lots of benefits of using Kahoot! in the process of teaching and learning:
  • Teacher can use to create a quiz to reinforce learning outcomes.
  • Teacher can use it a survey to gather some information.
  • Teacher can create a game to introduce a topic. It can help teacher to discover what the students already know and where they should focus their instruction.
💋💋Let's learn on how to use Kahoot!
STEP 1: Making Kahoot! account.
You need to fill the things that required on that page, and sign up.


STEP 2: You can choose whether you want to create quiz, jumble and so on, that suitable with your needs.
For this tutorial, I choose  to create quiz,.

 STEP 3: Then, it will bring you to this page where you need to fill in all the details required.
First, you need to put the title of your quiz, and a little bit of the description.

STEP 4: Create your question and answers. 
Don't forget to tick which answer is the correct one. You also can upload any image or video that you think necessary.

 STEP 5: After you publish your quiz, you will able to view them on your account.
You can use it every time you need it.

 STEP 6: Lastly, student need to key in the 'Game PIN' that are provided by the teacher in order for them to gain access.
